Amazing Wildlife Experiences in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland.  Our purpose built 2 person wildlife hide allows photographers to get up close to some of Scotlands iconic nature such as the Pine Marten and Red Squirrel.  Guests booking our accommodation can use our wildlife hide during their stay for free but we also offer packages of guided tours and workshops for non residents for a fee.

Our Wildlife hide is for exclusive so no sharing with loads of other photographers. We also offer one to one guided workshops and tours for photographers not staying subject to availability.  The hide can seat 2 people in comfort and has a wide window for a 180 degree view of the natural perches with tripod attachments and comfortable adjustable seating.  Set within our garden in a dedicated wildlife space we have planted trees, plants and wildflowers all to attract the bees, insects and mammals to our little wildlife haven, you can sit in comfort only 30 meters from the accommodation.  Even with a basic camera you can still capture amazing images.  A Mirrorless, Bridge Camera or DSLR with a kit lens with 200-500mm reach is perfect as the hide allows you to get up close.  We have a wealth of local knowledge & experience where wildlife watching opportunities are plentiful, from Otters, to waders such as Curlew, Red Shank & Oystercatchers to Seals, Porpoises, & Gannets.

We have a reflection pool and Squirrel Jump for amazing photography opportunities.  Please note that children under 12 can only use the hide when accompanied by an adult.  Peanuts are used as feed so its not suitable for allergy sufferers.  We also offer the chance to photograph the night sky and if lucky the Aurora right here from our  garden.  We also have regular visits from Tawny Owls and in the past few years have watched chicks being raised here.  As the seasons change there is always something of interest to photograph all convientiently located in the garden or surrounding area.  Autumn and Winter are fantastic times to see wildlife here.  Check out our social media pages for the latest images and videos.  Whilst we make no guarantees of the wildlife that will visit it is extremely rare that photographers don't get amazing photographs here.
