WILDLIFE & NATURE
We offer a unique Wildlife Experience for this area of Scotland. In the grounds we have a purpose built 2 person wildlife hide that allows guests and photographers to get up close to some of Scotlands rarest creatures such as the Pine Marten and Red Squirrel. All the sightings below have been in and around the garden, and local area. Our Wildlife Experience days are now available please contact us for details. Our aim is to turn our garden here into a wildlife haven. We allow a large section of the garden to be left untouched allowing nature to take over. We have planted trees and plants to attract wildlife and insects. Guests booking our accommodation are welcome to use our wildlife hide during their stay. We also now have a reflection pool for amazing photography opportunities. Please note that children under 12 can only use the hide when accompanied by an adult. Peanuts are used as feed so its not suitable for allergy sufferers. If you are interested in any more of the wildlife photography services we offer please get in touch or see below. We also offer the chance to photograph the night sky and if your lucky the Aurora right here from our garden.
We currently only offer nature experiences to guests staying with us.
If you would like to support our rewilding journey and the support to the local wildlife you can donate here. All money received will go towards rewilding our garden, planting trees and feeding the squirrels, birds and pine martens. Each year we spend a huge amount of money supporting the wildlife here and your donation however small will help us continue that.
