For as long as I can remember I have loved nature and wildlife.  Coming from a long line of farmers I guess being closer to the land is in my DNA.  My photography journey started a bit later in life, firstly with landscapes and then back into wildlife photography.  Being out in the wild with a camera is always a wonderful experience.  The constant changing of the light as the clouds roll across the hills, or photographing birds from a hide deep in a forest.  No one trip is the same and many times you head home empty handed with what feels like a wasted day.  But now my best memories from walks in the mountains and hills, forest and streams, are not on a camera or phone, but images in my mind of bird song, forest smells, and the warmth of the sun rise.
